For over 20 years, Jeri Rodriguez has been a police officer, dedicated to keeping our families and streets safe. She began working as a Constable Deputy in Denton County in 1999 and is currently the Chief Deputy for Denton County Constable’s Office, Precinct 3. With Constable Raburn retiring after this term, Jeri is running for Constable in Precinct 3.
Jeri knew she wanted to dedicate her life to protecting others after volunteering with search and rescue teams back in the early 1990s and made the switch from the medical field to enroll in the Police Academy, receiving her Texas Peace Officer License in 1999.
Jeri holds a Master Peace Officer Certificate, Firearms Instructor Certificate, Civil Process Proficiency Certificate, Courtroom Security Specialist Certificate and a Peace Officer Instructor Certificate from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
Dedicated to conservative principles, Jeri also serves as a Republican precinct chair and was the President of Pachyderm Club in 2018. She is a member of Lewisville Area Republican Club, Flower Mound Area Republican Club, Denton County Patriots Republican Club, and Texas Strong Republican Women.
Jeri has called Denton County home nearly her entire life. She and her husband, Steve, live in Lewisville. She has two grown children and three grandchildren. Her son, Christopher Jones currently serves as a Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp.
